With the wave of new MRI systems being installed
under the NHS New Opportunity Fund (NOF), many sites now have a
new scanner but not the physics knowledge to support it.
MagNET now offer tailor-made training sessions
on how to perform basic MRI quality assurance, drawing on MagNET's
many years of experience.
We can tailor the sessions to the length you require,
typically from a half-day or longer.
We can demonstrate:
- the test objects required and how to position
them correctly;
- the scan parameters to use for each test;
- how to analyse the images using your scanner's
console software and freely available third party software;
- how to build-up a comprehensive quality assurance
archive.
This service is primarily aimed at physicists
wanting to take on the responsibility of MRI quality assurance,
but can also be tailored for MRI radiographers.
