MagNET's MRI Test Objects - Small Bore Systems/Extremity Coils

MagNET have designed two 58 mm diameter cylindrical test objects suitable for quality assurance on small bore systems such as high-field research scanners or dedicated limb scanners as well as for extremity coil evaluations such as wrist coils..

They can be supplied ready-filled with mineral oil for use on very high field systems.

	snr and uniformity
	A cylindrical phantom for signal-to-noise and uniformity measurements.

	spatial resolution, slice width and geometric linearity/distortion
	This test object features 0.3 mm and 0.4 mm line gratings for resolution measurements and parallel opposed wedges for measurement of very thin slice widths. A set of 5 rods perpendicular to the face of the test object provide measurement positions for evaluation of geometric linearity and distortion.
