G-SCAN 0.25T
 

Esaote is demonstrating the new G-SCAN, a 0.25T system on which the patient lies and is tilted into a weight-bearing position.

The system is designed for knee, hip, spine and ankle imaging.

At present, the system is CE marked, but does not have FDA approval.

A hospital in Germany will be taking delivery of a G-SCAN 0.25T in the near future.

 

Magnet

The G-SCAN features a 0.25T permanent magnet.

Patients can be imaged in a supine or weight-bearing position. through tilting of the patient couch.

The field of view size is 25 cm.

 

Gradients

The gradient system has an amplitude of 25mT/m.
