RSNA 2004

 

This year's RSNA meeting in Chicago, USA, is currently taking place.

MagNET team members are currently attending the meeting and are visiting the exhibition stands of the major MRI manufacturers to see the latest developments in MRI as they are unveiled.

Daily reports are available on the RSNA section of our website.

These reports are updated as soon as we receive new information, often mulitple times each day.

Some of the latest news includes:

  • the new Siemens Espree 1.5T and Trio 3T systems
  • the new Philips Panorama 1T and Achieva 3T systems
  • GE's EXCITE HD technology
  • systems from Esaote, Fonar, Hitachi, Oni and Toshiba
  • A gravity simulator to mimic weight-bearing for supine patients
  • Transparent RF shields to allow large windows in MRI examination rooms
