Based at Imperial College, London, since 1988, MagNET evaluate MRI systems.

We are part of the independent evaluation programme supported by the UK Government's Centre for Evidence-based Purchasing (CEP).

MagNET provide comparative information on MR image quality, usability and safety. This helps radiological staff select scanners for their needs and optimise their quality assurance programmes.

Evaluations are published as Evaluation Reports and as articles in the journal "Diagnostic Imaging Review".

MagNET has produced a comprehensive range of evaluation reports, detailing the technical specification, usability and imaging performances of many MRI systems.

A range of comparison reports for the 1.5T, 1.0T and Open systems allows quick and easy comparison of similar systems.

These comparison reports are regularly updated and re-issued with new system information.

MagNET has also to produced a number special interest reports covering MRI angiography, cardiac imaging and diffusion and perfusion imaging.
