This research project has studied quality assurance in Diffusion and Perfusion MRI.

These applications of MRI are being used increasingly for study, diagnosis and treatment of ischaemia, brain tumours and neurodegenerative diseases.

In view of the significance of the related applications, MagNET has developed and applied performance assessment tests for Diffusion and Perfusion MRI and has introduced a novel Quality Control program for Diffusion MRI in liaison with clinical sites.
