As of the 1st of April 2009 MagNET will no longer be funded by the Centre for Evidence based Purchasing (CEP) to perform evaluations of MRI scanners and applications.

MagNET manufacturers a range of MRI test objects for use in measuring image quality parameters across a range of MR field strengths. MagNET's new small bore/extremity coil test object produces superb image quality at 3T using (image courtesy of the Paul Strickland Scanner Centre). MagNET's standard SE imaging protocol was used with 1 mm slice width and pixel size 0.27 mm. The test object's 0.3 mm and 0.4 mm line gratings are resolved.
